  Rules
This corner of our site hosts several vital documents regarding rules and guidelines. The purpose of these documents is to outline what we expect of users in various areas of the game and its forums. While we suggest that you read all of the documents, Dystopian Law is the only article that must be read and understood prior to creating a game account. We have made every effort to phrase these documents as clearly and concisely as possible, if you are unsure of your interpretation please do not hesitate to contact us for clarification.

  Dystopian Law:

Dystopia has few solid rules, but those which do exist are serious and must be noted. Failure to know and abide by these rules may result in account deletion. These laws relate to gameplay and account creation.

  General Guidelines and Advice:

These are not rules to be abided by, they are guidelines on what to expect from the various places of communication. This article is intended to give you an idea of the attitude to take towards our forums and their use. Additionally this article contains some hints which may be of use to forum users.

  Unmoderated areas:

The Council of Monarchs, World Assembly and Kingdom Halls fall under this classification.

Several areas of our site are purposely unmoderated and considered free expression zones. This means that absolutely anything goes, the only posts removed are spam. At Woofcat we are great supporters of freedom of speech/thought, and would encourage users to utilize the freedom provided. However, we do recognise the risks posed by such a lack of censorship. For this reason we have provided some guidelines on what to do as a viewer of these areas.

  Moderated areas:

The Announcements and Questions forum and all out of game boards (boards.woofcat.com) fall under this category.

Moderation is a necessity in some areas of our site. This article details which areas are subject to moderation, what is tolerated, what isn't and why.
